You don’t have to remove the cap like you did. Just leave it on while priming otherwise more chances of loosing sterility

for an air embolism a Dr. told me it needs 10ml of air in blood, internet said 5ml in blood. There is someone can tell me how much air can create an air embolism?

you can leave the distal cap on. the fluid will still flow, pushing out the air. it will stop flowing on it's own when the line is primed.

you are missing an important step. invert the check valve before priming so it won't trap air and cause air in line alarms.

Throw the bag on your shoulder and then insert the line. No air in the line and no alarms to silence.

Only in danger of air embolism is if 10cc of air is pushed at once, even then with correct positioning of the patient it can be cured.

The key is to release the roller slowly and not all the way unclamped so the soloution primes through the line slowly which prevents bubbles
