This is also like the most beautiful representation of how grief can be. Looking for glimmers of the person and not caring if it seems weird.

bob is so perfectly written, typically so monotone, awkward, shy, kind of grumpy, all the more highlights what a big heart he has in moments like this. I love this show 🥹

Grief does some weird things to you. I remember following an older woman through the mall because she smelled just like my grandma who passed away a decade prior. She noticed me pretty quickly, but when I explained she actually gave me a full bottle of vintage White Diamonds perfume! She explained that she used to work at a Macy's perfume counter and used to help people like me all the time. She even explained that I was probably getting bad deja vu because they no longer make the same perfume formula anymore. I've haven't seen her since, but that bottle helped me process my grief better than any therapy I've ever paid for. 😭

In a world where all TV stories look the same, I've never seen an episode even remotely similar to this one. What a great show.

Olfactory senses are the closest tied to memory. I still cry sometimes when I cook my grandmas recipes. This was beautiful ♥️

I thought this was such a beautiful scene. I love how Bob doesn't even flich at their request. having lost his own mom he probably understands how important stuff like that is.

this is a beautiful representation of grief. I cry every time I cut open watermelon 🍉. my dad was the only one who purchased it in the house. I miss him.

Bob was so understanding and he let the father smell his head and saw his children trying to hold it together. He was in their shoes but as a child, as a father/son he wanted to give comfort. 😭💕

I sometimes will randomly catch whiffs of perfume that smelled like my step-mothers, smells mean so much for some.

About 10 years ago I was making coffee at work and out of nowhere, the scent of the cheap Folgers coffee triggered a really strong memory of my grandpa who died when I was 16. It was so random.

Grief is weird, we kept the brand of landry sheets my grandma gave us before she passed. We don't use it and the scent is almost gone but once in awhile i smell it so i can remember her
