people don't realise that if it's palm sized blisters or bigger, or on the hand/face, advice is to be seen. not every area has urgent care, so u have to go to A&E!

I burnt nearly the whole of my lower leg last year with kettle water and the doctors were horrified I didn’t go to a&e straight away, definitely the right call! Hope it heals well for you

People do realise that boiling hot water can lead to blistering and irreparable skin damage if not at least looked at? I burnt my palm and went to A&E if I didn’t it could’ve gotten so much worse

Ouch! As a nurse you absolutely did the right thing. Wrongly untreated burns can cause a lot of preventive issues and scarring. I hope you are feeling better.
