@dogdaysofclt: 2/4 update: this sweet momma is safe with a rescue group! More info to be shared tomorrow… This poor girl gave birth 11 days ago. She had clearly already had many litters before but this one was different because she needed a c-section. She lost all 9 babies. Yesterday, she was brought back in for suture removal and her breeder decided they didn’t want her anymore. She couldn’t make money so she was of no use. Well I met her at the shelter last night and I can tell you she is worth so much more than they could’ve been imagined. She’s incredibly scared but tried her best to come in for cuddles. She was gentle with a puppy running around the lobby. She was quiet when another dog barked at her. She deserves so much more. She will be serving an abandonment hold at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control but will need a rescue, foster or adopter to help her gain confidence. She is so worth it. 🩷 📍 Charlotte, NC
