We had a flight once that was behind. I swear the pilot had to be a retired fighter jet pilot bc he tore into the sky so fast and nearly str8 up and banked to the left. It was thrilling and we made it earlier than the scheduled time. 😂

Flying out of Athens we did not do a steep climb it was very very gradual. Is that normal? I remember them saying we were to heavy and had to wait on a longer runway lol

The name of the game is altitude. They want to get as high up as they possibly can in the beginning in case something goes wrong and they need to glide back to the airport.

Had one flight that stopped that steep climb suddenly, banked kinda hard, then climbed again… Ive flown quite a bit despite a real fear of it, and that made me almost panic 😩 what would that be from?

im not sure but, the flaps doesn’t help to have a better climb, it decreases the climb performance but helps to have a lower rotation speed. tell me if i’m wrong !!
