@tnsdiamonds: Trust the Process 🙏 Not everyone loves the deposit-first rule, but it ensures we protect our inventory and maintain efficient transactions. That’s what keeps things running smoothly at TNS. 💎 #TNSDiamonds #CustomerService #trusttheprocess
Bro; write him a quote then. Sounds like he maybe got his verbage wrong and meant quote instead of invoice.

He had second thoughts, he probably couldn’t afford the watch, that’s my 2 cents 😂

sounds like you wouldn't use his credit card for the deposit, which gives the customer some protection. if that's the case you're wrong on this one. sure require wire for full payment but cc deposit

Dennis Guzy :
I have bought from TNS and paid a deposit to ensure the watch is held while I arranged the wire to pay. It was a fraction of the watches cost and I had no issue doing this at all.

customer is right on this one, you should modify your flow to issue a quote or invoice without taking it down

people saying the customer is right are wrong. this is his business and he can run his business how he wants. if you don't like how he does his business go elsewhere.

idk an invoice is like a receipt. if he wants a breakdown of the price have it an email or text. no payment no receipt

Makes no sense. You generate an invoice to pay upon. An invoice is not a receipt. That’s standard across all industries. Taking money while providing 0 paperwork for the customer gives the customer 0 confidence.

client is right. also theother time you had an issue with another customer and you said a watch sold twice because it took a while for website and platforms to update. you're giving conflicting stories.

Been following you for a bit. You are not in the right on this one where you have been in the right in the past. I don’t blame the customer on this one. Learning lesson. This one’s on you

I def wouldn’t send any money without some sort of documentation. Sounds like the business process may not be optimal for driving customer confidence…this could all be easy fixed though

I’m in retail so I understand. Your system needs to include quotes. Would have been the solution. Customer was right in this. Also respectfully check your attitude.

I’d never put a deposit on anything without an invoice or pro forma. Pretty shady my man. And not letting him use a CC for his protection is also a 🚩

Buy the dealer, not the watch. If he doesn’t trust you then you don’t want him as a customer anyway. You might’ve dodged a bullet.
