Why are parents not using the $500 government co-contribution to Super for their kids. By paying $1000 into your kid’s super, the government will add another $500, which is already a 33% increase in net wealth for your kid. And with potentially 45 years of compound earnings, this is likely to increase 64 times in value. Meaning the $500 a year would be worth $32000 on retirement, and the $1000 you give them would compound to $64000. Meaning a $1000 contribution to your kid’s super will earn them $100,000 on retirement.

Is there age limit they can “earn” example our homestead business is a company holding a trust so our profits can be split over beneficiaries however we like at the end of the year so can I add her as one and dish some out to her ?? She helps on the farm so could be her earnings 🤷

could we not use a slightly more expensive tax agent to do their tax return ... and claim it back on the following years tax? my 5yo earnt $383 23/24. it's already up to $290 this FY.. she may break the $416 in interest..
