FULL RECIPE: The best chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting! For the cake: - 250g flour - 300g sugar - 65g cocoa powder - 1tsp baking soda - 1tsp baking powder - Pinch of salt - 2 eggs - 135g vegetable oil - 240g milk with a bit of vanilla in it - 2 tsp cold coffee - 120g sour cream - Whipped cream Method: - in a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients together. - Add vegetable oil, milk with vanilla, and the 2 eggs. Mix until combined. - While that’s mixing, add in your coffee and sour cream. Mix until combined - Into two lined pans, evenly distribute the batter. Put in oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes. - Once out, let cool completely before slicing each cake in half. - Add a thin layer of chocolate frosting and then whipped cream on one layer. Then add your second layer, and do the same thing. Repeat this process until you get to the top layer. - For the top, finish off with the chocolate frosting, bringing it down along the sides as well. For chocolate cream cheese frosting: - 113g of softened butter - 8oz cream cheese - 300g icing sugar - 50g cocoa powder Method: - In a mixing bowl, mix the butter and cream cheese together - Then mix in the cocoa powder before gradually adding in the icing sugar - Keep mixing until everything is combined and smooth. #chocolatecake #chocolatecakewithfrosting #chocolatecoffeecake
