Tesco made £1.6 Billion in Operating profit in their latest accounts. I think it's pure greed from supermarkets by putting their prices up. There is no need for it & is a factor on Shoplifting

Tbf these big supermarkets sacking loads and putting in self scanners to line their own pockets more, karma! Now they have to shell out more for security guards(proper ones & not just some uncle ) 👍

They’ve introduced new cashless supermarkets that require debit cards to gain access to the store. Aldi has already started rolling out these new stores. This prevents shoplifting. No card no entry.

Calling the Police for Shoplifting is a 101 call. If you get the shoplifter to act aggressively or swear then it’s a 999 call. Difference is around 48hours….seriously!!
