It is amazing how our local agriculture bank rejected us, and not just once, I’ll save that for another story. To the young farmer, keep going. Keep pushing through the rejections. Sometimes the good ol’ boy system of who you know fails on their part. We are a prime example. We didn’t have the good ol’ boy to help us get started. But here we are, owning and operating our own farm. It was a lot of work to get where we are today, but I am one proud wife of what my husband has accomplished. If we can do it, you can do it. But you have to be able to take the word “NO” and run with it. If you have an “Ag” bank in your community that doesn’t foresee you succeeding, keep your options open because the bank that has never met you in person may just believe in you like ours did. And here we are, 10 years later! Did you have to start a farm from the ground up? #agriculture #chickenfarm #farmwife #farmtok #youngfarmer
