Truth be told :
If a doctor is unable to diagnose a problem, they should refer the patient to a specialist who can provide the necessary treatment! Common Sense

My father died of prostate cancer in Dec. He wasn’t told by his specialist that he had cancer and by the time he was told, he had been living with it for 3 years and it was too late to do anything

Same thing happened to my mum mis diagnosed her with uti she had bladder cancer even after scans

A radiology dept misdiagnosed childs X-rays saying there’s nothing wrong, but we knew that couldn’t be right, due to symptoms, a few days later we went to another X-ray dept where we found out what the serious issue was. Never going back to the B dept.

Yup happened to a prior colleague of mine in NZ. They diagnosed him with a myriad of ridiculous things. It was too late when caught it

I had a liver tumour and they didn't want to investigate,I asked how they knew it wouldn't kill me "oh we don't".....they were willing to wait and see , this was 10-15 years ago
