Starts with comfort, then posture, then getting to safety, getting smarter, then independence. New parents,  start doing this right now in the tub. Your child’s swim journey will be 85 percent complete by a year old. Parents of non swimming toddlers, burn your puddle jumper, start talking water safety, and get the child in the tub and do THIS WORK.  Forget kicks, forget bubbles, and certainly don’t ever let them experience artificial buoyancy in the pool ever again.   Create Positive water associations.  And there you have it!
