@brycegruber: In the last 18 months I went on lots of REALLY impressive trips (thanks, work!). Some of the best cheap Caribbean vacations were the ones that catered to families, though. 3. Embassy Suites, Aruba has an incredible location in the best part of the island. A massive breakfast buffet is included, rooms have big beds and pull-outs and kitchenettes so you don’t have to eat out 100% of the time. 2. Lopesan Costa Bavaro in Dominican Republic is designed magnificently. It’s kid-friendly and all-inclusive, but it’s designed like a 5-star adult-focused resort. Massive pools, private beach, loads of restaurants and water parks for the kids make this a standout. 1. Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is the overall winner bc flights are so cheap from most of the US (and quick/wastewater), it’s clean, staff are lovely and there are millions of things for kids to do at every hour of the day.
