@tshepi_loves_food: Recipe: Homemade Pomegranate & Rooibos Ginger Bug Soda 🍹 Ginger Bug Starter • 1 cup water • 2 tbsp diced fresh ginger (with peel) • 2 tbsp sugar 1️⃣ Mix all ingredients in a jar & cover with a lid. 2️⃣ Stir daily, adding 1 tbsp diced ginger + 1 tbsp sugar for 3-5 days until bubbly! Fermented Ginger Bug Soda 🫧 • 500ml water • 2 rooibos tea bags • Juice of 1 fresh pomegranate • 1 tbsp honey • 1 tsp lemon juice • 1/2 cup active (fizzy) ginger bug 1️⃣ Into a pressure safe bottle - strain & add ginger bug starter. 2️⃣ Mix in pomegranate juice 3️⃣Steep rooibos tea in hot water, let cool.
