No, it’s because people aren’t used to seeing that person skinnier so they think they look “0dd” same as why you think you look older when you lose weight, you’re not used to it 🙈🥰

I think it happens when someone loses a lot of weight very rapidly. Maybe something to do with skin elasticity. But as you said can happen with any weight loss method or even illness.

I thinks it’s because people who lose a massive amount and lose fat as well as muscle very quickly compared to other diets, so more likely to have loose skin on the face. Not a medical term though..

It’s just weight loss in general. Your hormones actually dictate where you lose your weight/fat from. Some people will lose lots from their face first, others will be their legs or stomach etc. xx
