Replying to @Jacob Wolf Hi all 👋 thank you for all the love you’ve shown Handsome! In July 2024 I fostered him shortly from the Animal Foundation in Vegas when he was 90 pounds (seen in the first video). After going back to the shelter, he was quickly adopted. Fast forward to July 2025 and I saw his pictures on a different shelter’s instagram page. I instantly recognized him, but he was 20 pounds lighter and had cuts on his body (seen in the images in this post). We were heartbroken to hear that he was found as a stray. He was taken into Henderson Animal Shelter where I learned that his adopters were contacted, but they never came to pick him up. As soon as he was available to go on overnight trips, we took him home for a sleepover and he was such an angel. He spent the night chilling on the couch with @Jacob Wolf eating lots of treats and getting lots of cuddles! He’s available the Henderson Animal Shelter in southern Nevada where he is being loved on! He’s already looking and feeling better! Handsome is 5 years old and a super sweetheart! He knows commands like sit, down, paw, and wait! We’re not sure how he is with other dogs, but he’s been gentle to all of the kids & adults he’s met! I just want to be clear that this situation is no fault of Handsome’s nor any of the shelters. We love our local shelters and we are so grateful for all of the hard work they put into these amazing dogs!
