@happydoggoniall: Sometimes a street dog has very little hope and that was the case with Pepper. We got messages from 4 different people about a dog on the other side of the island who had a huge growth on her neck. The hardest part was actually catching her because once she figured out what we were up to she got terrified. Luckily a little girl in the community knew her well and helped us. After an hour of crawling around under shacks we got Pepper. Her growth was bleeding so it was straight into the vets for an emergency operation. The vets warned us that it was touch and go as it was right up against her jugular vein. An incredibly risky procedure. But it was a success! Pepper is now recovering with us and she is doing great and loves humans and the care she is getting. I can't wait to bring her back to her community and the little girl who really did save her life. #rescue #streetdogs #dogsrescue
