@thesehands2020: Gm Gm Gm Beautiful People! I hope you all are off to amazing start!! Just wanted to share this video of my beautiful client... This Queen is one of my regular clients. She has let me take pictures, record and go live with her since our very first appt and I so appreciate her for that. So while I was doing her hair, we had a power outage. I had already been recording throughout the process but when the power when out I said whelp… i guess I can’t get the finished look… but I was like maybe I can get the finished video outside.. I asked her and she said that it was cool… We got outside and I was immediately trying to figure out how to take the video without getting her face in it. So here’s why that thought crossed my mind… I take a lot of clients that have hair loss and majority of the time… they say no to having their face shown or I automatically assume that they will say no bc everyone else did… Idk what made me ask her but I said… question… do you mind if you face is showing or do you want me to edit it out? Yalllllllllllllll she said oh no, you good. My face can be in it. I said uh? Are you sure? She said yep… I already know what it is so it is what it is… I could have cried in the very moment. I learned so many lessons just by asking that one question.. Some that stood out to me *STOP ASSUMING THAT THE ANSWER WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE NO! *HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOU NEVER ASK/TRY! *NEVER BE AFRAID OF SOMEONE’S OPINION OF YOU BC AS LONG AS YOU’RE CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF… THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS Ok Ok Ok I’m done y’all.. I just wanted to let y’all know how she literally made my heart smile!!!
