If I’m thirsty I will open my water or whatever in the store before buying it. I’ve drank it and sat it down right in front of the cashier and they do not care 🤷🏻♀️

Things that get weighed in order to pay, yes. If it would cost the same amount no matter what, not illegal or anything but I also wouldn't do it unless it was an emergency

If a product is sold by weight, you shouldn't do this. But if it's something like a bag of chips or something, you aren't technically stealing until you show you had no intent to pay

I see people talking about how you can taste them for freshness. Legally, no you cannot do that however, I assure you most workers don’t get paid enough to care. 😂
