This album was personal . She used banjos an older sound of country like black roots of country which is were the sound came from.. a lot of new country is upset because they tapping into a blk sound

I think the Grammys is about artistry and innovation. she's good but she still had to LEARN. this was a five year project for her with a TON of deep country influence. definitely deserved.
