I was diagnosed with Petit-Mal “Absence”Seizures when I was 5 y/o. I used to “zone out” a bit, but my parents weren’t too concerned until one day I stopped in the middle of the road and wouldn’t move. Thankfully, my grandma was a nurse and saw my episode and told my parents to take me to the doctor. I was a part of the double-blind study they conducted at Children’s Hospital. I used to have to do all kinds of blood draws, neurological tests, EEGs and the pinwheel test (“blow test”) on a weekly basis to see how I was responding to the “medicine” I was receiving (to this day I don’t know if I got the medicine or a placebo). Thankfully, I grew out of my seizures when I was 10, and haven’t had one since (25 y/o now).

this is what my neurologist believes in have going on with me. My boyfriend notices I just zone out for a bit and than I come too I have a massive headache.

Absence seizures. My son had them in his youth and we were told he’d grow out of them, he didn’t. Now he has grand mal seizures. Awful to watch and even worse to experience. We had to relearn phonics and all other studies. I’m so sorry she’s experiencing these.

My son had 5 different type of seizures for all his 12 years of age last year we got a brain surgery and it was the best decision ever. God bless .

My daughter does this and the doctor says it’s not a seizure and laughed saying seizures only have shaking in the eyes.

I got this type of seizure in my 40's ......turns out it was from 13 different types of mold , parasites, and heavy metals ....ozone therapy stopped them in 5 treatments
