Correction: The band actually was formed in California but that’s still considered Mexico, the lead singer’s parents were born in Mexico, but Enjambre’s songs are bilingual :)

it's cuz both languages are syllabaries (spanish like 90% and japan ~100%). both also have similar speaking rates (very fast). both only have one way to pronounce vowel sounds. closer than u think
