@10newsau: Some flood affected residents have embraced the Queenslander spirit and attempted to make the best of the severe wet weather that continues to lash the northern part of the state. More than 50 people have now been rescued from floodwaters in towns almost 300 kms apart. But the flooded streets haven’t stopped dozens of Cassowary Coast residents heading down to their local watering hole for a drink, with a video posted online showing several tinnies parked up at the Euramo “Yacht” Club. Elsewhere, a man was captured on video walking across the carpark at the Ross River Dam with a large barramundi hanging over his shoulder after reportedly finding it washed ashore. #10newsfirst #queensland #flood #flooding #townsville
