Hot tea was the drink for me it’s like 4 dishes, a box of 9 tea options(that no one had filled) and you literally don’t have any room on your tray for any other drinks

As an Australian I'd be horrified if my server made my espresso. I feel for you if that's so, it is blatantly unfair. every restaurant or coffee has trained staff that do the espresso. my daughter work has 2 Baristas making 100+ per hour coffees in 20 seat cafe with full breakfast, lunch & dinner service.

espresso is a total pain in the ass to make😭. I was so excited when I bought myself a delonghi machine at the beginning of lockdown. but just thinking about making myself a latte wears me out 😭

Try a Cuban Cortado! 30% milk to 70% espresso with a tablespoon of sugar added to the cup before the espresso is extracted. Addicting! ☕️👍

Might be a hot take but as a barista myself, it horrifies me that they have untrained servers making espresso drinks. I never never order an espresso drink at a restaurant.

Also a lot of the times the espresso machines at restaurants suck compared to an actual coffee shop so when it doesn’t come out exactly like Starbucks they’re mad but the equipment is so different
