A lot of jobs are now making it the employees responsibility to find someone to cover their shift when they are not going to be there no matter the reason. It’s wrong & makes for a toxic environment

I’m in management and that’s 100% a mgrs duty. If coverage can’t be found the mgr has to fill in. For y’all saying he should I wouldn’t even expect him to have the numbers of his adult coworkers.

If my daughter can’t work her shift ahead of time (like when the schedule is released) she’s responsible for finding someone to cover for her. If she’s sick she just lets her manager know.
