some cars have after-run coolant pump so you can shut it down right away. But still it wouldn’t harm to let it idle after a hard drive

if you are pushing it to 11 and shut ti off it will kill your turbo, or if you have a watter cooled turbo then it would not hurt the turbo, 5 min on idle is plenty enough to cool it off or abt 3-4 km

Do NOT idle after pushing your car. Drive calmy to cool it down. If you heat up your oil and then idle you will have your engine running low oil preassure with very liquid oil
