People mainly get it for the chance to network for two years. You get a nice program and establish yourself and can likely walk away with a pocketbook full of powerful contacts

Masters degrees are the new high school diploma. They don't even guarantee a job. Colleges charging $20k a semester are laughing their way to the bank & couldn't care less if you find a job.

Some people might doubt this guy. But I want people to go to OpenAI’s LinkedIn and just look at all the Stanford graduates that work there—It’s astonishing. Connections and prestige means a lot.

Got mine in 2015 and no high paying job. So I just got one that mattered to ppl and gives me a great work life balance. Now that I am older, age discrimination can be an issue

You forgot to mention that people in that article wanted a career change after getting a MBA. Meaning someone went to graduate school but after they graduated they wanted to work in a different field
