A black car with no plate number honked at the gate, claiming to be "SSS on a drug raid to catch a drug dealer in our estate." Instead of verifying, a sleepy security guard opened the pedestrian gate. That was all the robbers needed. The mumu security could have called the estate chairman or estate head security to confirm, but he just opened the gate. waaaa! to allow them to enter for free. Guns drawn, they tied up the guards and drove in freely, robbing house after house—until they picked the wrong one. A mobile police officer inside fired shots, forcing them to flee. The Lesson? Many security guards are just gate openers, not professionals. Don't entrust your safety to incompetence. Hire real security. A foolish security guard is worse than having no security at all.
