Don’t do these things on your fitness journey - promise me xx 1.not eating enough - i KNOW there are a lot of people online telling you to eat less, but chances are if you’re already fairly lean or “skinnyfat” they’re not actually talking to you! If you wanna build lean muscle, you NEED to be giving your body the fuel it needs to perform well, recover better and ultimately help you get more out of all that effort you’re putting into your workouts! 2.letting bad body image days affect your actions - we all have those days where we feel like we’ve made ZERO progress (trust me, I know) but self sabotaging and giving up on your training OR nutrition isn’t gonna do you any favours!!  3.cutting out carbs - there was a myth going round for ages telling everyone that “carbs will make you fat” That’s not accurate. Weight gain is determined by your average calorie intake over time, NOT by a certain food/ food group.  4.not using progressive overload - you need to increase the intensity or the weights/reps you lift over time otherwise your progress will plateau 5.comparing my journey or fitness to others’ - even if we all ate and trained the EXACT same way, we would still look totally different so there’s no point!
