@_morgangoodwin: Replying to @Tanya thoughts on using heating pads during pregnancy or no? #pregnancystruggles #pregnancyproblems #backpain #thirdtrimester #28weekspregnant #pregnancyjourney
My ob and MFM said it’s totally fine as long as it stays on your back, never on the front. Also baths up to 100F is fine too

I like to use a heating pad on my feet, as I have terrible circulation and have major cold feet-BUT what about radiation from the heating pad?!? Isn’t it bad for pregnancy???

I have used mine during pregnancy… I had kidney stones at 21 w pregnant and it literally saved my life. My doctors recommended to use it.

I’ve been taking warm Epsom baths too as long as it’s not hot enough to make me sweat etc 💜

Yesss my OB said the same. My accupuncturist said she actually recommends it bc it keeps your womb and body warm esp in winter!

My ob says fine on my back or anywhere thats not my stomach bc localized heat wont raise your core body temp (like a hot tub would) I use it everynight before bed for like 30 on my lower back/hips🤤

I used heating packs on my stomach for a torn muscle throughout my preg! My OB said all good as long as it’s not too high/hot. So I just kept mine on low (or med, if very sore)! Perfectly healthy baby
