I just did 6 interviews. They call me a week after to tell me that they are going in a different direction. Since October to February just wasted my time. 😪

when the interview process is more than 1 phone interview and 1 in person interview we should be compensated. and resumes should be read by a human not a dammed ATS

I did 5 rounds of interviews only to be told "we don't think you have the qualifications". Excuse me? They said in each interview that my experience at my last position perfectly matched their needs.

i really wish I can get this the day after my interview. ppl who can handle rejection still exists. its so cowardice and unprofessional to me to let someone believe they really have the job

If they aren’t comsiderate with your time, they’re going to take your time and get you no where. Also, an employer who does not follow up or offer feedback is strange

IMO if it’s not a senior management/executive level job then no more than 1, maybe 2 interviews are necessary. Even the higher jobs no more than 5, you should know who you want by then.

I had a rejection that way! they said even though I match the qualifications they can't meet pay requirements and for that reason I was rejected

I tell my managers they need to keep regular interviews to 2. Executives to 3. If they need more people to validate their decisions, they need to rethink their strategy.

you have to do "We actually already have an internal canditate that is currently doing the roll who is going to get the job, but for legal reason we still have to interview "potential candidates".

i did a 2 hr zoom interview then drove 2 hrs was there interviewing for like 8 drove 2 hrs home, got a call back that i couldn’t start soon enough, i told them in the first interview i didn’t graduate
