@hangrybynature: Why stay at a hotel in Tokyo when you can stay at a ryokan? 🧖♀️🇯🇵 Prostyle Ryokan is located in the heart of Asakusa, which is, personally, our favourite neighbourhood because of the history, culture and most importantly... FOOOD 🤤 Seriously, the views could NOT get any better. As someone who live in Tokyo I always try my best to steer clear of Asakusa.

People.. Ryokan’s are very expensive and heavily booked out no matter where you go. If you’re going to Japan just get a cheap hotel. You’re not going to be spending that much time there.

I’m going in December and need a place that a student can afford but still have enough space that won’t give me a panic attack

We traveled as a family of 6. We used AirBnB for all our stays in Asakusa, Osaka, & Kyoto. In my previous travels to Japan we stayed in hotels. Airbnb is the way to go. Get a RailPass

Basically unavailable, even in October and November of this year. Availability is always one of the main issues with these recommendations. 😐
