@jmstenor: Opera Singer & Voice Professor morning technique session. I do this vocal exercise every day in an attempt to balance my [a] vowel. It’s a little bit for myself and a lot a bit because of what coaches complain about in my sound 😂 If your [a] tends too dark, instead of thinking of it “more forward” can you have a more closed vowel before it so you can try to feel more tongue arch in your [a]? What singing questions can I answer for you?
