This is just one reason I don’t like leaving the house. I make my way from the little clinic (because they want me to do a c-test before an appointment I have tomorrow). I canceled the appointment because they want $190 (ridiculous I’m not paying that) So I was sitting in my car in the CVS parking lot. It’s hot today and the sun was beating down on my arm…which started to make me have a full body reaction (because heat aggravates POTS). I started to seek shade but needed gas, so I drive to the Kroger station and pulled up to the pump. Time was ticking and I needed to cancel the appt for tomorrow and call another doc office. I called, as I cranked up the AC and it was shaded so it started to cool down. A few minutes passed (maybe 5) as I was on hold and cooling down. I saw a woman with her phone out walking behind and filming my car. Then she was staring me down and filming me… I was thinking “what the hell?” So I rolled my window down and asked “did I do something wrong?” And she started yelling things at me about “taking up a spot” Sure, I concede it’s annoying when people take a long time at the pump. But I had only been there a few minutes. I inconvenienced her. I have a disability that involves time blindness so maybe I was there longer? I have no idea. But I have a feeling my face is going to be up on the internet somewhere, with her screaming at me how I’m this or that because I was literally just SITTING IN MY CAR. After I saw the amount of anger and hatred she had in her eyes and heard her cussing 🤬 I just rolled up my window and ignored her. She didn’t like that. She then circled me with her car. Hung around for another 5 minutes documenting me on the phone with my doctor. Oooooooooh I’m such a bad person! Look at me on the phone in my air conditioned car just existing. Chick, if you were in such a hurry to be somewhere why do you hang around me for 5 to 10 minutes trying to pick a fight? I stayed in my car and waited for her to leave. But this is why it’s HARD having ADHD and the downside of it is people literally want to hurt you because you lost track of time. Agressive people just make me sad. I don’t want any part of you. She has NO idea what I’m going through and if she had any kind of compassion she would have knocked on the window and asked if I was okay? ##adhdawareness##adhdinwomen##audhd##POTS##emotionaldysregulation##autismawareness
