Not TikTok. They stopped teaching home economics in schools. I mean literally while I was at my school they replaced a mandatory cooking class with yet another computer skills class.

I read several recipes for the same dish and make note of what is similar and different about them and come up with my variation. Also find it useful to ‘cook’ the meal in my head through the day
