If you’re searching for a good car restraint option, whether that be a car crate or a harness, you should start by looking at the Center for Pet Safety website, and see which car crates, carriers, and dog harnesses they recommend that are crashed tested, and certified. The Center for Pet Safety does not have an all inclusive list however but it is a good place to start. There are other companies, such as Thule, MIM safe Variocage, etc. that all have crashed tested car kennels.
