I swear i remember movie trivia about The Poltergeist. The scene in the pool with the skeletons were from India I believe. The reasoning being manufactured skeletons look “fake”. They need real ones.

We had one at our high school. The biology teacher told us it was from a young Indian boy. Some of us stole the hand and kept it in our lockers. We gave it back tho.
