@tilscience: How am I JUST learning about this?? Up until 1985, India was the number one supplier of human skeletons for medical institutions around the world. A Chicago tribune reporter wrote an expose that revealed the vast majority of these skeletons were procured illegally… #truecrime #anatomy #medicine #medical #skeleton #DidYouKnow #worldnews
That’s so sad, so many people and children taken from there family and finally resting places for profit.

1984…. When you said 19 my jaw dropped. The fact that they did such horrific things to children and the US tried to reverse it is beyond reprehensible

This is how entitled the rest of the world is, it’s so dehumanising. They think they are entintled to South Asian bodies, they don’t even see us as human. Even in death we aren’t allowed dignity.

Have you looked into Hollywood's use of human remains? The Creeper from the Creepshow Movies was a human skeleton. The creator talks about it openly on a late night show...

I swear i remember movie trivia about The Poltergeist. The scene in the pool with the skeletons were from India I believe. The reasoning being manufactured skeletons look “fake”. They need real ones.

What graves? Indians cremate. Those bones came from people who dropped dead in the streets and no one claimed those bodies. Medical students in India till today easily buy cadavers
