Especially for women rebuilding after divorce. Many former tradwives are already carrying so much. We're rebuilding financially. We're healing emotionally. And after losing relationships or community, trusting new people can feel difficult. So here's how I think about networking now: Networking is simply building genuine relationships. It's getting to know your neighbors. It's joining groups that reflect your interests. It's volunteering in your community. It's showing up consistently and caring about people—not because you're hoping they'll hire you, but because relationships matter. The beautiful thing is that when you build authentic relationships, business opportunities often follow naturally. People refer the people they know. They recommend the people they trust. They think of the people who have invested in their community. So don't think of networking as collecting business cards. Think of it as becoming rooted in the place where you live. For me, that's been one of the most meaningful parts of rebuilding my life and my business.
