We do the same, my partner drives everywhere for work and does long hours and I like that he also knows I’m safe somewhere. I have emotional triggers, so if something was to happen he’d know right where to go and help me.

I share location with my partner as he’s a type 1 diabetic so if I don’t hear from him my brain tells me he’s gone into a coma somewhere. 🥲 but he also works nights driving far from home so it makes me feel better. 🥰

I have my husband’s location. He’s a truck driver, if I hear about an accident somewhere, I like to check where he is to make sure he’s ok.

My husband and I never used to share location but when we started dating our new partners we started using life360 and now I love being able to check on my babies safety when I’m stuck at uni

A lot of people think sharing locations is toxic, but it’s only an issue if you’re in a toxic relationship. For us, it’s purely about convenience. My partner’s phone is always on silent, so if I need to reach him, I just sign into Find My Phone on Samsung and make his phone ping so he knows I’m trying to contact him. Another thing is, my partner isn’t great at texting, so it’s much easier for me to check how far away he is or if he got somewhere safely. There’s nothing weird or controlling about it, we both have nothing to hide, so it’s never been a problem.
