WD40 is oil, so even if there is any trace left, as long as ur using an oil based paint it won't matter!

Use an oscillating tool with the triangle attachment and sandpaper for the corners. 👍

WD40 is hydrophobic and will repel water it is an oil solvent. Suggests a problem with water based finnishes. Lubricating an abrasive sound like wrong abrasive.

I use a really heavy grain paper 14 grit it’s like just chunks of flint on it. It’s like tar on the edges if they have the black covering and just clogs the paper ..
