[WATCH NOW AND EAT LATER] @qixianghotpot located at The Chevrons offers a nice cosy space for parents to enjoy a hotpot experience while little ones get to enjoy the play area that was set up for them! . Whether it is waiting for the food to be cooked, or just to keep them entertained, little ones can go bouncing in the mini bouncy castle or pick traditional games to play as a family - we played a game of country erasers to determined who get to eat more ICE CREAM! . You can also see the play area from most of the seats, thus giving you the choice of watching from afar, and enjoying your meal while the kids play. As with all bouncy castles, we do advise those with younger ones to be careful, especially if bigger kids area around. . Thanks to Qi Xiang Hotpot for the invite where we tried their new Prawn Broth with Local Bamboo Lobster, a heavier soup base. It was really tastey and flavourful, but you may wish to add clear soup after awhile to balance the taste. Most importantly, the kids gave it a big thumbs up - slurping the la mian with the soup... before running off to play again! . The restaurant also serves a variety of cooked items, we loved the handmade Ah-gong Ngoh Hiang and the Thai Spicy Prawn Kueh Pie Tee was a nice combination to a old taste. . Dinner ended with a mix of ice cream and mashmallows (not captured in video because it was wolfed down before I can say anything)! . Overall a great experience with the kids and definitely a venue that families can consider for their next meal! We also noticed a private room where you celebrate birthdays too! *we understand the play area was meant to be a temporary setup but they are considering to make it permanent. .
