I started at Walgreens. I'm a pharmacy technician, 3 months after my start date I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. The FEMALE store manager "that's not my problem" tried to fire me. 😒

Chewy uses Sedgwick too and I got fired for taking time off for a car accident after getting a concussion from hitting the side window. Same scenario. Worked there 4 months. Not enough PTO.

my uncle has worked as a delivery driver through Walmart for 20+ years, they even paid for my grandma's funeral 💓 however my friend worked in store and would talk about how badly they treated staff

my fiance works for a walmart DC and he literally almost lost his job because i was GIVING BIRTH TO OUR CHILD and he didn’t have enough ppto or pto to take care of being absent while i was in LABOR

What people don’t seem to grasp is that unexcused medical documentation is for pay or non-pay purposes only, it’s a not a guaranteed protection from job removal. Especially during probationary period.

You have up to 5 points & PPTO. If you were hired 1/7 and already had points in 20 days.. that’s not acceptable. They will work with you if you’re genuine. This just sounds like bs.

They also yell at pregnant women (( me because I have to pee)) given me three utis and food poisoning to where I almost lost my child but I STILL GOT the point and they told me “we can’t take that doctors note”
