Something similar happened to my family. My brother drowned and his phone called our parents after he had been found. His phone was broken and waterlogged and in a locker. It was static too.

I have heard of this happening. I remember when the elderly couple passed in Miami condo collapse and the family kept getting calls from them but they had passed and the phone was destroyed🥺

this reminds me of the case of a car wreck where the officers on scene all heard a voice asking for help... the only survivor was a baby, the mother had died and had been dead the whole time
