“Healthy” Chili Recipe 🫑👇🏻 (& picky eater approved!)  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What you will need to make this delicious, filling & easy one-pot dinner ⬇️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 lbs ground beef (browned & drained) 1 onion 1 bell pepper 1 tbsp garlic  1 can tomato paste 1 15oz can of tomato sauce 1/2 can of pumpkin purée 2 cups of beef broth 2 bouillon cubes @Slap Ya Mama  Chili powder Cumin ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How I make it ⬇️ Brown ground beef with 1 tsp cumin, 1 tbsp of both Slap Ya Mama and chili powder.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Drain and add back to pot with onion, bell pepper & garlic.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💧 I like to add a splash of water to help the veggies cook. Cook until translucent.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Add tomato paste and cook for 10 mins.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Add the rest of ingredients, plus another tsp of cumin, and tbsp of both chili powder and Slap Ya Mama (add more or less to taste).  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cook on medium low heat for about an hour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why we call this “healthy” chili ⬇️ My husband Josh calls this recipe “healthy” chili because it somewhat originated from a meal plan from my gym.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I haven’t been able to locate the OG recipe, but that didn’t stop Josh (& our son Hayes!) from eating 2 big bowls!  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And the pickiest 2 eaters in the house said it was “good,” 😆 so definitely give this recipe a try if you do have picky eaters!  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If only they knew mama snuck in pumpkin 😜  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Looking forward to eating leftovers for lunch this week! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #healthychili #chili #chilirecipe #dinnerrecipe #onepotdinner #onepotrecipe #healthydinners #leftovers #pickyeaters #turkeychili
