You’re the first person I’ve seen talk about needing the zip close divider on the handle side. This is my MUST HAVE and the only suitcase I’ve found to have this is Roam and their colors suck. 1/2

I love a good trunk style! An extremely important thing for me is the weight of the suitcase. I don't want to spend half (or more!) my allowed weight on the suitcase itself!

The trunk style also helps when "living out of the suit case". I travel for work & in different hotels nightly. This helps not to be forced to unpack everything or lay out on the floor

Waterproof/ water resistant. the number of times my items inside have been wet because the suitcase left in the rain while loading the plane 🙄

I’m voting for TRUNK style all the way. 👍👍Clam shell takes up too much space. Hotel luggage rack sizes have not accommodated clam shell 😢

I have been trunk style my whole adult life (never switched over to the clamshell), and I am now down to one set of suitcases. I need them to make a huge comeback for when my set finally kicks it 😅

A side handle is also a MUST!!! I had to get a new suitcase recently and didn’t realize it didn’t have a side handle like my old one did and it’s so hard to get in and out of overhead bins🙄🙄

One thing that isn't mentioned here for me is literally just color options. I will never buy a black suitcase because i want it to be easy to find during luggage claim
