@ongsquad: Making the viral burnt Basque cheesecake 🍰 Ingredients: 1 3/4 cups sugar 2 1/4 lbs cream cheese 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 5 large eggs 2 cups heavy cream 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 package Biscoff cookies 5 tablespoons butter, melted Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking dish with parchment paper. 2. Cream sugar and cream cheese until smooth. 3. Add salt and mix. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fully incorporated. Beat in heavy cream. Sift in flour and mix on low. 5. Crush Biscoff cookies in a Ziploc bag until they form crumbs. 6. Pour crumbs into a mixing bowl and stir in melted butter. 7. Line the bottom of the baking dish with Biscoff mixture, pressing down with a spoon or fingers. 8. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes, until brown on top. 9. Remove from oven and place on rack to cool completely. The centre will sink as cake cools. 10.
