Well my parents had me at 20 and lost dad when I was 4. Nearly lost my mom at 17. So we get them for however long we get them. Being young doesn’t guarantee more time.

I dont think ppl realize how difficult it can be to have older parents.when I was younger I spent a lot of time in the hospital bc of it and you worry if they are going to be there for your milestones

My dad passed away when i was 30. He was 83. I had a short time with him (not like my brothers) but he raised me, took me to school/college and spent his retirement years playing tenis with me 🥹
