@sophiemorrisofficial: PLEASE SHARE so everyone starts to boycott this product!! You should have heard the expletives out of me when I looked at the back of Cadbury’s hot chocolate and discovered they’d reduced their cocoa content and increased their sugar content since last September!!! On one hand I couldn’t believe my eyes and on the other hand I’m not bloody surprised by this move out of Mondelez international - one of the world’s largest food companies where profit is constantly prioritised over people. Why on earth did they need to increase the sugar content in their hot chocolate from an already outrageously high 68% sugar?! Simply put - because it makes them more money! By increasing the sugar content from 68% to 73% and decreasing the cocoa content from 31% to 25% it makes the product cheaper to manufacture and therefore they generate higher profits. But this is done at the expense of our health! We did not need more sugar in our hot chocolate. Do they care? Clearly not. These kinds of tactics are constantly done by big food to drive their profits without people ever realising so they just get away with it!! BUT - Hopefully not anymore as we all become more aware of ingredients and what’s in the foods we’re buying 💪 What do you think? I’d love to know in the comments 👇❤️ #bigfood #ultraprocessedfoods #sophiesswaps #cleverswaps #readfoodlabels
I genuinely feel upset by the decline in Cadbury over last 10+ years.I don't like the influence Kraft is having on our taste & historic chocolate.

I looked at Dairy Gold butter (foil pack) ingredients and couldn't believe what was in it, 75% palm oil and so much more! Dunnes own brand butter was 100% cream. Thanks for all the advice🙌🏻

If they drop below 25% cocoa it is not considered chocolate.

Mondelez ruin all their brands. They also make the Toblerone mountains thinner. Profit of over $6bn last year
