Here’s how ↓ Remember, you don’t need to be the best at everything. The real goal is to be better than you were yesterday. How you may ask? Here's what I do: 1) SELF ASSESSMENT End each day by reflecting on your actions. Specifically look at where you can improve and what you did well. Action 🧠✨: Keep a journal to document your daily reflections. This makes it easier to track progress and identify patterns or behaviors that need change. 2) INTENTIONAL LEARNING Start actively learning by setting a specific time for studying. Action 🧠✨: Choose a topic or book related to self-improvement or your desired area. Schedule at least 20 min a day to study this material. 3) BEHAVIORAL ANCHORING Anchor new habits to established routines. A method supported by neurological studies that show this can form new neural pathways. Action 🧠✨: For example If you want to practice more gratitude Link it to shutting your alarm off Take a moment after you hit the snooze or stop button (hopefully you’re hitting the latter) to mentally list things you’re grateful for. 4) SUHBAH (COMPANIONSHIP) Spend time with people who embody the qualities you wish to develop. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged keeping the company of righteous and knowledgeable people as their traits can influence your own behaviors. Action 🧠✨: Make a list of all the people you hang out with. Observe how you feel around them. Is your energy higher or lower after spending time with them? Drop the low energy ones. Join a circle or an online community that focuses on growth and self-improvement. P.S. I’m going into the science of habits in my next letter.
