@jeffnippardfitness: One question people ask me when I bring up minimum effective training: Is this really enough volume to maximize gains? For a beginner: Yeah, it probably is. For everyone else: There's a difference between optimal gains and detectable gains. Most people can still make detectable gains on very low volume programs. You may need more sets for those gains to be optimal, but what is optimal isn't always worth it. I think it's good to know that if you are limited on time, you can still make great progress with very short workouts as long as you're pushing hard!
Almost like Mike Mentzer was actually right or something huh 🤔?

Guys this only works for pros who can go all out on one set with the best technique and intensity, i feel like us norms just gotta do multiple sets and longer sessions to perfect our forms.

Honestly I’d rather be in the gym for 2 hours 5X per week enjoying my music and gym vibes going 70% effort than 60 mins per week of all out sets to failure. Idc if it’s most effective/efficient I hate pushing to failure.

and then there's me who's going 5 times a week 3 sets to failure and yet I have barely any muscle growth
